Pursuit
Pursuit offers iconic attractions like the scenic Maligne Lake Cruise to Spirit Island and awe-inspiring natural landscapes like Maligne Canyon. Jasper is located at the Northern end of the Icefields Parkway. This dramatic and scenic route leads down through the Columbia Icefield to Banff National Park, the starting point for the famous Columbia Icefield Adventure.

Peak-nic
A hike, a meal and a back country cooking lesson. Cooking in the outdoors is an art. It takes planning, organization, good gear and light-weight ingredients. Peak-Nic is a 3.8 KM intermediate hike up a stunning peak followed by a hands-on back-country cooking lesson, where you will learn to prepare your own gourmet meal in the outdoors using efficient and environmentally friendly outdoors cooking methods. The best part? You get to eat an amazing meal while enjoying panoramic views.

Journey Bike Guides
Offering guided mountain bike tours with fully certified guides. Journey Bike Guides mission is to share some of the best mountain bike trails and scenery that Jasper has to offer. A unique experience tailored specifically to every fitness and ability level. An authentic Canadian outdoor adventure!
Private Guided half-day tours are three hours from start to finish. Tours can be booked 24 hours in advance with groups up to a maximum of 9 people. Bikes are not included. Rentals are available at Vicious Cycles – 630 Connaught Drive.

Jasper Motorcycle Tours
Jasper Motorcycle Tours, each sidecar motorcycle, can carry two passengers and the driver. Tours operate daily from April to October. Departure times can be adjusted at the time of booking to fit your schedule. Tours accommodate single riders up to groups of 10. Pick-ups and Drop-offs at our Lobby. Children 10 yrs and younger are half price. This is a great rainy day activity – heated vests, leather attire is provided, and all ages and abilities can enjoy this wonderful experience!

Jasper Skytram
Jasper SkyTram provides an experience unlike any other in Canada by whisking guests to 2,263 metres, which offers easy access to a boardwalk and hiking trails in the alpine zone of the Canadian Rockies. Hike the Summit Trail to the peak of Whistlers Mountain (2,463m/8,081ft) for 360° views of six mountain ranges – including Mount Robson, the highest mountain in the Canadian Rockies. Flights go up every 9 minutes and take 7 minutes from bottom to top/top to bottom.

We suggest that you dress in layers as the mountain weather can be unpredictable. Sturdy footwear is a good idea if you plan on hiking the summit trail. Average temperature during the summer months is 25°C / 77°F.

Canyoning is the art of descending steep-walled gorges and deep mountain valleys using ropes to control your movements. Athabasca Glacier Icewalks
For 35 years, Athabasca Glacier Icewalks guides have offered safe and informative hikes at the Columbia Icefield. As the world sorts itself out, and new norms are established, here’s what we are planning for the summer of 2020 in order to maintain this safety record during such unprecedented times.
Ice cubed and icewalk in the afternoon glacier adventures
Our most popular glacier adventure. Spend half a day on the lower glacier and discover the world of ice with a professional guide. You will enjoy superb views of the Canadian Rockies while seeing first-hand how glaciers form, move, and affect the mountain environment.

Icewalk deluxe glacier adventure
Spend the day on the ice with a professional guide and hike to the icefalls of the Athabasca Glacier. Venturing further up the glacier, you will see a greater variety of glacial features and get a different perspective of snow and ice movement.
