From enjoying a traditional Canadian pastime on Lake Mildred to trying a new form of skiing on one of our groomed trails, there’s an activity for all ages to experience this winter season and our Winter Activity Centre located at the Golf Clubhouse will help you find it!
Try our groomed skating rink on Lake Mildred or take out some pucks and sticks, and play a pick-up game of pond hockey Canadian style outside on the ice. Get outfitted with snowshoes or Nordic skis at the Winter Activity Centre and traverse the resort trails.
Activities
Skating on Mildred Lake – Closed for the Season
Mildred Lake features a 1 Km round-the-lake oval and 4 hockey rinks for pick-up games. Complimentary rentals of skates, helmets, hockey sticks and pucks are available at the Winter Activity Centre. Skate sharpening is also available.
Cross Country Skiing
Our resort turns into a winter wonderland with groomed cross country ski trails tracked as snowfall permits on our golf course and Lake Mildred. Both feature incredible views of the local mountains. Rentals of cross country skis and boots are available at the Winter Activity Centre.
Snowshoeing
Explore one of our many woodland trails and with a keen eye (and a little luck) you may even see some of our local wildlife! Trail maps and snowshoes are available at the Winter Activity Centre and are included for hotel guests.
Fat Tire Biking
Enjoy one of Canada’s fastest growing winter sports, Fat Tire Biking. Riding along the marked trail towards Lake Annette, returning by way of Trefoil Lake, this is a great way to see the forests and mountains. Bike rentals come with helmets. Rental rates apply for fat tire bikes.
Toboggan Park
Grab a toboggan, tube or sled, and GO! Our brand new, groomed hill is perfect for family fun. Complimentary rentals are available.
